Hey, this is Matt (I'm not sure if there are other Matts in this Buck Hill group), I'm here usually just lurking about. I'll probably be at Buck this Sunday doing the 9 to Noon deal. Really enjoyed bringing out the Sims last week after letting it sit for a few seasons in favor of my F2, as the seasons progress I'm finding myself looking for a sturdier board, so I think I'll be riding that at least for the near future.

Sounds like the season will be over by the time I get back this week, bummer. Thanks for a good season for the few times I rode with you guys. On a side note, I think I remember talking with someone on the lift this season or last who was/is involved in skydiving. I'm looking to take the AFF class April sometime, so if you're on here send me a PM...I'm looking for advice on local drop zones/general advice. Matt

Actually I might be able to help there, I have an old pair of snowpro base bindings I got on bomber that have just been sitting in my closet since I got a pair of F2's last season.

For the next year or so yes, so after that I'll see how this new job works. I may be trying to push a transfer to an office in Denver if possible (no offense to people who love the midwest), but for now I'm staying here.

Awesome, that's more info than I was expecting. I just graduated from Lehigh in PA, with Blue Mountain as my home mountain (1,000 vertical feet, not too shabby for PA), but went around to Camelback on occasion. This past season I was out on the mountain 3-5 days a week with my schedule, it was amazing. I'll probably join up on Sunday nights, and hold off on my season pass for now since I don't know how much free time I will have with my new job. I've been skiing for the past 18 years, boarding for the past 6, and have only been on an alpine board for the past 4, so I'm still trying to get it completely down.

I just moved to Minneapolis from PA and will be looking to get out as much as possible this winter. Any Minneapolis residents have recommendations on which mountains to go to or stay away from? Which mountains are the go to mountains for alpiner's around here?

I was there yesterday morning, not bad conditions. Bottom of most trails were icy but nothing too bad, softened up around noon. Crowds were manageable even with only a few trails open. I'll probably be going monday/wednesday/friday late morning to mid afternoon starting late January if anyone else is trying to ride then. Hopefully a few others from the Lehigh U alpine snowboard group will be joining as well.

I've wanted an F2 Silberpfeil for a while now, and I'm looking for either a 162 or 168 size. I'm not looking for any specific year, but I'm not trying to get a board that only has one run left in it either. Let me know what price you're looking for, I'll want it shipped to Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Any update on this? I haven't heard any response through email.
