I emailed Sean about demo boards at the Snow Performance Camp and this is his reply yesterday: "I don't know if snowperformance has a 147 pilot demo. You can contact them to see. We just finished some 147s today." Doesn't sound like he will be there.

I did not see any hardbooters on Stump Alley or Broadway or any of the lower mountain blue runs on Friday. Great powder on Sunday and Monday :)

I got in touch with Sean about the Pilot. When I carve on my softy setup I tend to skid out (poor edge hold?) and also wish the board is narrower. I like the narrower Alp but it is too stiff. I figure it may be easier to find a softer carve board than a 19cm waist freeride board. I'm not blaming it all on the equipment. My skill needs a lot of improvement too.

I don't have money for a custom board. :(
