  1. Thanks for taking the time to respond queequeg. So basically, if I'm after a soft boot, I should start with a soft boot. :) I'm 155lbs and allot of the time I like the feel of my Burton Fire's in walk mode better than when they are locked down. I'm thinking the 225T might be a good boot for me. Like the OP said though, I never see anyone using these. Is it just too soft?
  2. How do you soften them? With a BTS or do you cut pieces out of the shell?
  3. The boots have been ridden once for a couple hours. I bought them new for my wife who never used them. They are a 10/10. You can't tell that they've been ridden. The toe and heal are in perfect condition. Liner: 23 Lower shell: 23-23.5 Upper shell: 22-24.5 Tongue: 22-24.5 I'm looking for a $100US +shipping or a trade towards a pair of 26.5 boots. Thanks, Paul
  4. Every piece of Burton I have owned (and it's a pretty decent catalog) has exploded at one point or another. I say "piss away lib tech....piss away". :p
  5. I'm in Toronto. I'll take them if they are the right size and in working condition. Even if they aren't my size I could use the spare parts. Mine are falling apart.
  6. I measure 26.9. I'm looking for something with some decent flex for using with an all mountain board like a Prior 4x4. Thanks, Paul
  7. I am desperate for Burton Fire parts, especially the toe pads and forward lean selector. If powdahbonz changes his mind I'll all over this. Thanks, RideGuy
  8. Sent you a PM. I took some pics and can e-mail them to you.
  9. The board is in my parents basement, but luckily I'm going there for dinner tonight. I'll get picks up by the morning. RideGuy
  10. I have an older Rossi 153. It was used 1, maybe 2 half days ever. I bought it new for my wife a long time ago but she didn't like riding hard boots and never tried it again. I also have a pair of Raichle 223 that are in the same condition. Used 1, maybe 2 half days. I can't remember the size, but if I had to guess probably around a mondo 23.
  11. tdifan are not going to work for me. They are actually Reactors. I'm interested in your Winds. Please e-mail me when you get a chance. Thanks, RideGuy
  12. Bump I tried sending you an e-mail tdifan_2003, but I'm not sure if you have it enabled threw the forum. Still looking for a solution. Thanks, RideGuy
  13. I went out riding tonight. The snow was near perfect. A little soft, but I could still lay it out on the steeps. :) I ended up taking the "skid pads" out of both toes. I had to adjust the bindings slightly but it worked out well. I still want replacements, but this will do for now. I'm still interested in what tdifan_2003 has. I've enabled e-mail from other members. If you could maybe send me some pics and how much you want for the boots that would rock. Replacement skid pads would be cool as well. Thanks in advance, RideGuy
  14. This pic shows the softer grey plastic separating from the harder black plastic. If your toes are in good shape I would love to buy them from you, along with the rest of the boot. :) I'm in Toronto. Thanks, Paul
  15. The lighter plastic on the bottom of the toes are separating out of the hard plastic. I'm hoping to find replacements by either buying another pair of boots, or maybe even finding just the toes. I'm not sure if boot size matters, but mine are a 27.5. I'm hoping all toe pieces are the same size. Thanks in advance, RideGuy
