kind of looks like a Demonseed to me....wheels are for certain ABEC11 Centrax. Mischo is a big guy but Dalua is a beast
I've been up to 50mph/80kph but that's about my limit, I wasn't scared I'm just not interested in going faster
The one day I decided to do a serious DH day, first run, hit 40 mph. Needless to say I almost s**t my pants that run.
Of course, the next run, I hit 45 mph, stinkbug, and hello sprained wrist!
Since then I haven't gone any faster.

The longer board (not the flower print mini) is a Double Tap....this setup (board and wheels) is the closest I have come on a skateboard to reaching the same feeling as a snowboard. I mean seriously this board is a freeride machine it slides like a snowboard. Turn and push and even an old fart like me can do 4 wheel drifts on a thought. I spent all day today riding it on a slide hill (wheelabrator) just giggling as I threw frontside and backside standup slides like I was 20 years younger....
Specs of the board?
Indy/core 215's with venom bushings?
what wheels are those?
-
...I can't wait to pic up my double tap on friday....I will be a slide god
What slide is a "double tap?" unless I'm misunderstanding.

I believe they use Tracker Superballs
Well mine have black bushings, and according to his chart, there aren't any black superballs.
-
what about tracker racetrack bushings?

GNU and LibTech are the same co. I'm not aware of anyone else using magnetraction...
The Nidecker Proto has a form of magnetraction in its edge. I believe it is only in the middle part of the board though.
The other part of magnetraction is the fact that after a few sharpenings, its going to wear away.

I'd much rather let a little of the board stick out on the nose and tail than let my trucks take a full speed run into cement.
Hell, they sell rubber nose protectors.

SC8, from France, used to do the slot/dropmount a long time ago.
You can't 'slide' the randals in because of the 'wings' on the baseplate.
Only paris, indy, and any trucks that have a base without any extra edges or anything would work to actually slide in the mount.

Albert is a no-go for sunday.
anyone interested?

I'm talking to Albert about it.
Anyone else interested?
Erwin?
Mike?
Aaron?
Robert?
Theo?

I'm in! (As long as Andrea is in ;) )
3/25 works in my case, unlike last year.

Not to mention the oh-so delicious and over priced food and drinks for sale!

that was Orange 80a Eliminators on the boardside and Blue Khiro Barrels roadside very loose....sadly too loose wheelbite slams suck its rolling on Purple 87a eliminators boardside and Blue 85 SHR barrels roadside. Still loose but no wheelbite
My elim/bitch combination isn't loose at all, unless you aren't tightening the kingpin nut to the "no slop point?"

Gecko: What bushings are on those 215's?
They look very similar to the way I have mine set up
orange eliminator boardside, blue bitch roadside
-
That just looks like so much fun for dancing.

Andrea,
As much as I admire your work, I wonder why you keep on doing this detail on many of your boards? If I remember correctly, one of Julian's broke right at that point. Reducing the material at the point of highest stress is always bad news... It should rather look as what I sketched on the other side.
Another note, the 4 trucks configurration can work properly only if there is 0 flex to the deck. Otherwise, the farther set lifts of the ground. Then in a turn, they would contact again, but grip less then the inner ones. Lowrider's idea solves this issue.
Largest radii possible to clear wheel travel. If you really want to solve you material weakness where you narrow it laminate your own plywood with fiberglass cloth between layers and use epoxy not poyester. about 3 layers should give a pretty firm deck. Thats how i tune the flex on my snowboard plates as i construct them.Well, exactly.
The dervish broke because it was an experimental thing.
We were using 2/3 (1/2" instead of 3/4") the amount of wood we normally did.
Now we use fiberglass to reinforce our boards
The Double-Double, is 3/4" thick, not including the mounting stuff.
It's rock solid.

Yeah, Mittens was a feral cat, three weeks old, left for dead by the mom cat (who took the other three kittens of the litter) in a rain storm in my shed with hypothermia.
We took her inside and after a few days she was healthy, and after a few weeks, she was walking around and eating on her own.
November would of made it three years.

...for stand up paddling (bigstick)...
Coincidence that you posted a SUP board.... I'm sure Andrea will explain.
-
Mammoth got some snow about a week ago, just a light dusting though.
-
My cat was struck by a car tonight.
Killed instantly.
I don't drive, but I wish people would be a little more cognitive when they do.

No grip? Sketchy...

...que es esto?!
anyone else see the problem with this?

I don't know, to me, seems like a dumb invention unless they only sold biodegradable bb's.
"Hey, lets make a gun that spews plastic all over the place really fast! Yeah, that's a great idea!"
"What will we use it for?"
"Who cares!"
Why wouldn't you just play paintball? How can you tell somebody has been hit with a bb? Am I missing something?
You call it.
It's a game of honor.
And trust me, you WILL call it.
Have you ever been shot with a .43gram bb flying at 550 feet per second?
it hurts, there is a reaction (and satisfaction for the shooter)
Its one of those things that you have to try to really understand.
-
who picks the plastic litter up when you are done "playing"?
Depends on the field.
if its an indoor field, they usually change the scenery ever week or so, and when they do that, they remove all the obstacles, and sweep the floors of all the bb's.
if its an outdoor field they either,
1) require you to use biodegradable bb's
or
2) do the same as at an indoor field, but obviously they can't get every last bb at an outdoor field.
first there was a summerstick and then
