  1. Nice 'stang! Reminds me of my first car, a 68 Chevy.

I now drive E30s as I'm a big BMW fan and consider these the greatest cars ever built. My summer vacation is going to consist of polishing my sedan and fixing the suspension problems its got, and the other is my daily driver, a touring that's big to-do list: rust repairs, repainting, getting the interior into brand new condition and then.. dum de dum dum, swapping in a 3.0L I6 with 240hp :)

    Just a quick preview

    Old German cars ftw!

I'll be working on my 1991 VW GTI.

    Just a 1.8 8v. Nothing fancy.

Only big mod are some raceland coilovers.

Next is body work and paint.

Hoping to do a VR6 swap eventually, maybe with forced induction, roll cage, and big brakes.

  2. My buddies and I got lost in Westlake, so we decided to take Decker over to Mullholland to get back home.

While driving through decker I see two longboarders (a girl and a guy) hitching up the canyon, so we pulled over and they hopped in.

The girl hopped in my car and we started talking. Her name was Tamara Prader, and she and her friend are professional downhill racers. They just did a race in Catalina and now are cruising back up to Canada, stopping along the way for some gnar.

When we got to the top, I got to talk to her friend.

Turns out her friend was P-Swiss.

Luckily I had my gopro in my car, and I was able to follow Switzer down Decker towards PCH. I gave them a lift back up to Mullholland (their RV was parked there, luckily enough) and it turns out they were headed towards Stunt Road/Piuma Canyon, which was also where my buddies and I were trying to go.

    So yeah.

  3. Solid riding, especially Julian 5:00-5:43! smooth and stylish

It's funny that you say that; I was semi-dicking around during that part. I was messing with my perception; I wouldn't cant my head in the turn so my perspective was parallel with the nose of my board. A really trippy way to ride; I was disoriented many times from that.
