  1. Your priceless quote from an earlier post: "How many old school wood boards are on the podium at any upper level event. If you think its cuz they don't know how to ride a wood board as sick as you do then your probably correct......NOT". After reading posts on BOL and hardbootin' for 16yrs I am going to go out on a limb and say for most of us its not about podium appearences, its about carving the mounting and enjoying the ride. So by your standards we should all go out and purchase the Renn Tiger if we want to go fast??? I do want a metal board and I can't wait to ride one. But your senseless comments give you zero crediability. Think before you speak/write.
  2. Thanks for the rant "bordy boy". But sometimes its the "nut behind the wheel" more then the vehicle itself. So yes my Nidecker "rips" with me on it and I am sure that applies to all the other riders your busting on as well. So until you see us struggling on the slopes don't try to tell us how you think we ride-understand. Any quality input on custom boards is welcome.
  3. I have been riding Nidecker's for years(GS and the Tornado b4 that) and I feel these boards are truly quality. It's my everyday board. Great edge hold, damp, lively tail and they take a beating. I have not had any delam issues, edge blowouts, etc... Do custom boards bring that much more to the table? I need a new board and would love some feedback from any custom board vets. Thanks for any input.
  4. Thanks for all the quality feedback.
  5. Has anyone ridin this board or any other F2's? If so how is the quality and feel(stable, damp, etc...)? Also how about the Titanflex and the Titanium bindings. Thanks for any input.
  6. I was wondering if anyone can answer a question for me. I am always reading about delam issues with custom boards(Coiler,Prior, etc..). I have always ridden Nidecker Tornado's and have never had a delam problem(4 different boards)and they're significantly less expensive then Coilers, Priors, etc.. I am looking to try out a new Metal WCR or the Schtubby but I am concerned about the delam issue. Thanks for all of your input.
  7. Thanks for the input. I have been on the fence between purchasing the WCR or the Schtubby. Its been difficult getting feedback on the WCR. So this was great reading your post. Where do you mostly ride? Enjoy the new stick.
  8. I have a pair of Bonfire-"platnium series" pants that are awesome. No rips, still keep me dry and they have at least 5 seasons on them. They have suspendors on them, full zip ups on the legs, and not super baggy.
  9. thanks BlueB for the input. its been tuff getting WCR feedback, been getting a ton of Schtubby info. happy holidys.
  10. Thanks for the input Bobdea. If you dont mind could you list your top five or the ones you prerfer. Thanks.
  11. Thanks Brad. Thats what I was looking for as far as all mountain carver. Have you had to bash thru any crud?
  12. Prior WCR Metal or the Schtubby??? The answer is yes!! Thanks for the thorough explaination BadBrad.
  13. I am trying to get feedback on the WCR Metal. I am use to riding my Nidecker GS173 but I am looking for something new and different. I am looking for it to be my everyday board(carve, crud, fall line, etc). Does this board have more race or more freeecarve attributes? I would probably get it with a 20cm-21cm waist, & 173cm Metal. Thanks everyone. Happy Holidays!!!
  14. Thanks everyone for the input. All feedback from my posting and other postings have been similar and positive about the Schtubby. I have not seen much on the Prior Metal WCR. Thanks again and if anyone has more input about the WCR and the Schtubby please feel free.
  15. I am trying to narrow it down between the Prior WCR and the Coiler Schtubby. Approx. specs would be 173/19.5-21waist/11-13scr. I ride Hunter Mtn NY and VT Mtns. It would be my everyday board, so it would need to: cut through crud, falline, and still have exceptional carving attributes(no race board attributes) on eastcoast hardpack(I have a powder board so i am covered there). Thanks for any input.
  16. Do these bords share similar traits? Can both hold gs carves and keep up with deep carves? I am used to my Nidecker GS but I am looking for something new. Thanks for any input.
  17. Any reviews on these boards? I have been riding the Nidecker GS for years and looking for something new.
  18. Anyone have any input on Eurocarve boards? I have been riding Nidecker GS boards for years but I am interested in these style boards. Thanks.
