  1. Just curious. I was looking up www.ebay.de which is the German ebay. Has anyone bought anything through there or is a pain in the neck? Seems to me there is a lot of great equipment we would love to ride but we don't normally have our hands on due to the shipping costs or something.

Anyone have any feedback or forward any past threads from the past. I've searched on it here but haven't found much except those who have bought Virus boards, etc.

    Thanks.

  2. Hey bhaysd, There are some hardbooters around usually riding all-mountain boards in this part of the state. I don't get over to the Big Sky area or Bridger too often. But if you are over on the western part of the state hit me up. Whitefish does have a few hardcore locals that ride hardboots religiously. you should definitely check out WTF at the end of the month. Its a great event. Although I don't know if I'll make it or not this year. Hopefully for a few days.

  3. So, spent the day skwalling in Courchevel yesterday. Got lots of comments from the lifties along the lines of "that's an endangered species", "holy cow", etc. Then, as I hit the last drag lift of the day (a "téléski difficile" that I'd done at least 3 times), the spotty young oik came out of his cabin, pointed at my board, and said "c'est interdit ici, ce - truc" ("that's forbidden here, that - thing"). He proceded to try and show me how I wasn't allowed to take "his" draglift on a - umm - "thing". Which turned out to be cobblers.

And next time I go to Courch', I'll be hot-gluing woodscrews to the tail of my board first.

I love this! Really? what are people thinking? So funny! Its not our problem that people have to hop our trenches. We got there first. :D

I have broken an older model same board a few years ago. when I bought it used it had a slight cosmetic crack in front of the rear inserts. I believe it was the 01' or 02' model.

I loved that board! It rode great with no weakness from those stress cracks on the topsheet. but it couldn't handle the stress of the terrain park on a sunny Spring afternoon. It still hurts to talk about it.

  5. You are going to love it, Chris. I've been to both mountains. I believe Big Sky has more wide open runs but both have great grooming. Both areas have different terrain. Its definitely worthwhile to go to both areas and explore. The combo ticket for the same day is overkill so I would choose one or the other each day. Staying at Big Sky is a better too. There is some sort of nightlife there if you want to get out. You could get some powder so don't show up empty handed with only your race board! haha

  6. Hey Hero, I started to find alternatives a few years ago because it was tough to find the high end gear. remember I bought those Flows from you at OES a couple years ago?

I got some high back clickers last year and really love them. Then I found these boots at the ski swap here in Missoula in Nov. I am stoked. I'll probably be riding clickers for years now.

Hope you are getting some of that Oregon powder! Take care, Dan. See you later.
