  6. Slinky, It may be the location more than the price; theres not many of us in the UK on here, most people are US based so may not want the additional shipping cost, logistics etc

  10. This old chestnut again.... I get foot pain each year I board without fail, main board coiler all mtn, angles 48 Deg from memory, Raichle SB324 boots. The pain is worse in the morning and the 1st few days of riding, it feels like a dull aching. Often I have to stop mid run as it is that bad. I do like my boots tight (prob from old skiing days) but cant help feeling it should not be so bad. The pain is mostly on the outside of my foot and is a consequence of the force of my foot pressed against the shell whilst cranking turns. How can this be avoided? I dont think the boots are too narrow as if I had more lateral movement I would get slop hence loose agility?
  11. Do a POLL! do a POLL!, a little hyperactive I know but still. Would do one myself but duty calls......
  12. Have recently filed and polished my edges but they still dont feel that sharp, any ideas? I did the fingernail test and some was shaved off, but it did not come off as easily as on my Prior WCR which was tuned (assume ground) at 90 deg at a local shop. I did my coiler all mtn with a 1 deg base and 2 deg side, with an Fk MT701 multituner using the std file and red, blue & black diamond stones. Process was: 1) Base edge then side edge as below 2) Black / Blue diamond to De-Burr / Remove Rust. 3) File edges. 4) Polish edges with Black (rough), Blue then Red (Fine) stones until edges are smooth to the touch and eye. Took about 30min each edge, used water also. The problem could be that when i filed the base with the mill file not much material seemed to be removed - i put this down to the base being too high, ie the tool rubbing on the base instead of the edge. I have read past threads where the edges were so sharp people had apparently cut themselves, how sharp is sharp enough? I am wary of taking too much material off the edge so dont want to file too often.
  13. thanks for the info, will do some research
  14. Am after some new goggles and as I dont wear sunglasses really want a pair with two inter changable lenses, one tinted and one for low light. A while back i read that oakley wisdom's with a high blu lense for low / flat light and tinted lense for bright sun would work well. Would two lenses cover most conditions or would i need an intermediate lense? Recommendations? How easy is it to change lenses out on the slope? cheers
  15. Not tryin to thread jack but......im with Neil on this one. Your persistance to stay & post is sure apreciated. also congrats kj on the improvement
  16. thats the crazy sh*t ! sounds awesome, let us know if you notice any difference, although i am sure there could be some placebo effect.
  17. Does anyone else bar me think it would be a good idea to have a resort review section on bomber? to stop ppl going to bad places, etc ideally it would have more than just the states and be quite comprehensive as long as ppl were willing to post reviews.
  18. My goggles are soon to be replaced and i am after a pair that has interchangable lenses. two different lenses should do, one for snowy/flat light, the other for sun. Helmet attachment not a neccessity but would liek goggles that can be adapted to fit a helmet recommendations?
  19. do any of them have interchgangable lenses for normal and low light? if so which ones and have u any left? cheers
  20. Mike, Yep hope you heal quick too. Uk'ers seem to be coming out of the woodwork, good stuff heres a question, what do you prefer, surfing or boarding? Cornwall surfing is sweet as is windsurfing but boarding just seems that bit better to me. take it easy
  21. i admit getting a buzz cutting around people ans seeing their expressions. However this one time i slipped out on a heelside about 2m uphill of the person i was turning around; hit them pretty hard and felt reallly bad about it- they were ok though. Now im more careful but still have the tendency. I think if your carving around them, ie downhill of them and they are stationary its not too risky.
  22. Can you give us some info on where the pictures were taken?
