  1. I'm a 6'4" newbie with a 178 Burton Speed that I haven't even ridden yet. But since boards for a big guy are hard to find, would any of these be good for newbie looking to start my own quiver??? That being said can anyone tell me if the Burton 178 Speed is good first board?
  2. I've been riding softboot for 19 years and I'm ready to try out my Alpine board. How much different is this going to be that my board that I ride now? I've always ridden with both feet angled as far forward as I could get them, I guess I've always been a closet Alpine rider... I've been watching a lot of video's on Youtube trying to learn the technique before I get out on the hill. Any help you guys could give me would be appreciated.
  3. Old snowboards... thanks for the info. It's making this a lot easier. I'm glad you told me what to look for because I'm sure I would have bought the wrong bindings.
  4. Tell us. New Alpine Rider? Brand spankin new Approx Weight. 210 (212 after a couple of PBR's Get after it or cruise? both 4 hole or 3 hole board. I'll get back to you on this one Price range. I'm open, but I don't want to go crazy on my first set.

  7. I've been riding softboot for 19 years and I'm ready to try a hardboot. I'm 6'4" 210 lbs. If you have any gear that would fit my size post in on here. I'm ready to buy. I don't have a lot of knowledge on hardboot gear so I may need a little help.
