  1. Thanks Loc!!!

Is there a way to download the pix in full res? Maybe in bulk....

On top of each photo there's a button labeled "All-sizes" that will lead you to a higher res version. I'll create a big zip file of all the photos for downloading after I finish uploading to the gallery. Pictures from Sunday should be a lot crisper since I switched to a lens with more reliable focus.

I hope to see some of these in the Personal Best Carving Photos thread :D

  2. I had an incredible time with everyone. I've never been on one run with so many carvers :1luvu: I crashed after getting home late last night and didn't get to the pics. I will start posting tonight as I go through them. The big lens didn't focus so well so I'm going through them one at a time. Hopefully I took a few good picture for everyone to use as their new avatar :eplus2:

    Just a sample:

  3. I am very interested.

Anyone know do they cater to beginnerish/intermediate carver?

or should I work on my own a bit more to be able to take full advetage of the camp?

I attended this camp last year as a beginner/intermediate carver and it helped A LOT. Sean and Gavin are great teachers and Mike Jacoby made an appearance too. That guy RIPS! :eplus2:

  4. Top post updated!

We need to coordinate transport of boards up the mountain. Getting equipment up J1 is doable at or before 8am, since the crowds are low and we can wait for the equipment chair to come around.

For the transport to the racks at J4, how does 9am sound? June obviously wants to minimize the number of required trips this will take.

I think meeting at the J1 lift at 7:30 sharp should be plenty of time to load the gear. Will the gear be taken up to J4 from the chalet by snowmobile?

  5. If you guys can send me photos and videos of carving June Mtn that would help with the website Carl would like to see.

I have the following gear to demo unless they sell*

Coiler VSR 168 - Lots of fun with the 9.9/12.7/12m

    Prior ATV 171

    Burton Ultra Prime 162

    Le Mans m24 boots*

    TD3 step-ins

    F2 Race ti standards

    TD1*

@John - haven't heard from you since Snow Performance! Hope to see you at the end of the month.

  6. Welcome to BOL, like Terry said you should introduce yourself in the SoCal forum. We have plenty of gear to share :biggthump The best thing you can do for your carving this season is attend SNES at the end of March. See the thread here. I noticed you're from Irvine. I'm in Santa Ana on the weekends, hopefully we can ride together sometime!

  7. Does software engineering count? lol. Take a lot of math and physics. I got away with taking no physics classes in college but the Man still got me by making me take even more math classes. I hate math!:angryfire

In high school the highest math you can get to is still AP Calc AB right? Take that. Take AP physics too. Maybe AP Comp Sci to mix it up. You can take the first semester of Calculus at a JC in the summer so you can breeze through the AP class. It will count for unit credits too.
