for me it doesnt really matter about time. ill pay if i have too. i just dont want to break my knee. i fell pretty akwardly the other day. i was all contorted and the nose grabbed and i twisted the other way giving me a sharp pain just on the inside of my rear knee. i think its beacuse im not to confident with transitions form toe-heel and visa versa. ill contact jeff he sent me an email so, ill hope for the best:biggthump

go with head stratos. just got some and they are very comfortable. there more than a UPZ but worth it. they got a moldable liner UPZ doesnt. i think its a self moulding liner. you cant bake it. learned it the hard way... my bootfitter was saying its a pretty cheap boot. -my two cents.
-
yup! after another painful experience at blue, i went to squire johns and Kenmark and priced out a nice pair of head stratos pro. kenmark was almost $90 cheaper AND they included the fitting.
-
they are thermo ( UPZ) and i do have a footbeds in there.the shells havent been punched. they didnt need it
-
my boots are a mondo 30 due to wide feet but my foot is only around a 28 or so in length. So i got lots of real estate in there.
now my question is, would wearing a boot to large affect the abiltity to turn or get a pain in the knee? keep in mind there is no heel lift or over hang on toe or heel and i dont move around in the boot.
