  1. hey, I can't seem to get an email out to you. I'd be interested in the Doneck. Shoot me an email: Filippo.Marchino@xlawx.com best, filippo
  2. Hey Guys, so....some guidance here... :) I just used my 2006, Silberpfeil 174 to do BX.... Wasn't too bad, but I'm trying to figure out if I should get something a bit wider and a bit shorter... Maybe 170sh, w/ a 22 waist... thoughts?
  3. well... i must say that the work at Summit ski and Cycle was amazing. They (Chris) readied my three boards for nationals, and did truly an exquisite job at it. All the tuning (wax and edges) is hand done, and done w/ proper tools and technique. All for the same price as the shops in Big Bear charge for a teenage kid literally tearing apart your precious boards. so, I'll DEFINITELY be going back to them.
  4. hey, can you shoot me some pics too? filippo.marchino@gmail.com :)
  5. hey... shoot me an email w/ the pics please. :) filippo.marchino@gmail.com
  6. I'm one of the good ones.... :) I big corporations for little people. :) Catek's are OS's, standard and long plate.
  7. thought my profile was done... :) my bad. I'm in Southern Cal. I have a pair of Phiokka's on one of my F2's. On the other I have a set of the Catek OS2's I think. I've tried looking around, but can't seem to find 3D plates for the Catek's, so I was just going to get an extra set of bindings to use only on the burton. Besides, not sure what's going on w/ the 12mm vs 10mm center nut. price range...depends on what's out there... didn't want to bleed to death on them though.
  8. Ladys and Gents, looking for bindings that will fit a recently acquired Burton Ultra Prime. Anyone have anything? :) Filippo
  9. as I said, at a first appearance, without riding the boards yet, they seem perfect. In my opinion, the job is definitely superior to those you get at any of the shops at big bear....
  10. hey, yes.. I did bring three boards in.... a 174 F2, a 169 F2 and a 159 Rossignol. They appear to be really well done. But I just picked them up an hour ago, and I'll use them up at big bear on wednesday.... if you want me to, I'll update you again then.... however, bang for the buck ($72 for edges and bottom surface on all three boards), I don't think you can go wrong.... the work really does appear as top notch.....
  11. Thank you! I just called them and will drop off my boards tonight.
  12. I'll definately give him a shout..... have you used him in the past?
  13. My fellow carvers, I have two hard boards that I need tuned, and I'm in LA. I took them to Goldsmith's in Big Bear a year ago, but wasn't to thrilled with the results.... can anybody point me in the right direction for a shop that can do race tuning on hard boards? I doesn't have to be in So. Cal if I can UPS them the boards... I just really want someone to do a proper job on them... :) Thanks!
