  1. Ahh, the x-tra important information...the T-nut with teeth! Thank you. ALso, I purchased these new from a vandor out east. The boots came with 2 different tounges and 2 sets of those soft, gray heel and toe pads. Things are looking up. Thanks.
  2. Those are the heels that came with my boots. Had I known... I DO agree with you that these boots are still good to go with the Fintechs. The boots have metal inserts and I plan to shim up the missing heel area. Now for everyone that feels these boots are toast and unsafe...I appreciate your opinions.
  3. Looks like the integrity is still excellent on the screw inserts. Any idea what Intec system works the best/well with the Head boots? I am ignorant to the finer details of intec heels. Will be looking for bindings as well. Bindings that have the best fit with the Head's toe portion. Any advice appreciated. Thanks, Pete
  4. Thanks for the input. I am going to look into putting intec heels on the boots. I have my old Burtons as back up (still going but trashed after close to 300+ rides. The Stratos Pros have been ridden about 30-40 rides. With this in mind I would not use those boots again with my current binding set up, Burton Plate bindings. I believe I'll be selling 4 sets of of Burton Plate bindings if I can get set up, safely, with some intec heels. Again thanks.g Pete
  5. Any repair ideas? These are at least 3 years old and well beyond warranty I suspect...if there even was a warranty. Thanks for any help or advice. Pete
  6. No rush man! Take your time. Thanks again.
  7. Dave's sending them to me free of charge! Thanks Dave!!!
  8. I'll look into that option if no spares are located. Thanks.
  9. I need the small plastic "screws" for the front bail of the Burton race plates (2 of them). The part that rests on the toe of the snowboard boot when the binding is engaged. Thanks for any help in locating a couple of these.
  10. I ordered a Giro Remedy S. Got it, returned it. It was as large as my motocross helmet. Rather supprised it wasn't lower profile. http://www.backcountry.com/store/GIR0088/Giro-Remedy-S-Comp-Helmet.html?CMP_ID=SH_FRO001&CMP_SKU=GIR0088&mv_pc=r126

I seem to have misplaced a set of 3 hole disks for some race plates. Anyone have a set they are willing to part with? Pete

    Sounds like a plan!
  16. Turns out the only extra part I have is the rear portion. That's not going to help you but this might. Since it's going to be your first time carving it's good you wont be using these. When they are adjusted snug enough to really be effective, they are not even a "hands free" system, at least mine weren't. Kind of a hasstle at times if I remember right. And as a new carver you don't need to deal with that extra dimension. Hope you find some new bindings. Pete
  17. I quit using the Burton step-ins because I had more than one bail break. Pete
  18. I believe I have a few parts for these binding, I'll check today. Shoot me an e-mail and if I have the part it is yours, free. Pete
  19. I'll take the Burton Plates and will need all the other accessories. Shoot me an e-mail to confirm. Pete Minnesota
  20. I need a Burton 4-hole cant plate. Getting tired of swapping from board to board. Pete MN
  21. Smoke on the lift, eat the butt...my wife hates that part.
  22. One simple thing that may help you to lay the power trench on the heelside, and feel like you are a train on a track, is to drive your rear knee 'HARD' towards your heelside edge...and towards the nose. I ride in walk mode with 6 deg rear cant, always flexing forwards on heelside rails. Additionally, I do reach across my chest as carvedog suggests with my "wrong" hand. Works for me, perhaps it will work for you. Pete
