The Blade was designed for some euro types that do that euro carve thing...that's not the way we roll onthis side of the pond
What's this WE sh*t?
Get what you want, a wide board gives you relaxed angles and carving power is not compromised at all.

I think the boots are on the softer side of the spectrum, you need hard bindings for these. Bomber td2's or equivalent.
If you want a step in setup you'll have to get intec heels and the appropriate bindings.
sorry it took so long to reply, out of town. Will be back sunday.

James - I tried Home Depot, they have a very limited selection of metrics and they only have 10mm and 16mm in the pan head/slot head. Maybe the USA is different, they might have more. I've got the centre disk pushed in as far as I can, it screws to the board great with the 12mm socket heads, but then I can't get the cap on...
Can you leave the cap off for now?
-
Play with the center disc, since there is a rubber gasket on the body the disc takes a little effort to seat properly in the recess. If it dosen't work out let me know, my local home depot has some screws.
I'll be at ses sunday though friday.

James, is that your new metal board you're riding in the vid?
Looks like you guys had Mt Rose to yourselves:biggthump
The abrupt ending was pretty funny.
You can call me the man of steel ( or aluminum anyway)
Mt Rose is like that most of the time:biggthump

Damp vs. lively boards, this seems to be a big issus in the metal / wood debate. Could it be that riding style has more to do with a lively or "poppy" board than the actual construction?
My metal board initiates the turn a lot easier than my comparably sized wood board, effortless if you will. With a softer board like this i was surprised at the amount of edge hold, i keep expecting it to fold up but it just keeps gripping. Think of metal as having the easy riding characteristics of a softer board with the STEELY grip of a much stiffer stick. Another big plus for me is the weight savings, if you like retarded sized boards your foot will appreciate this on the chair ride.
Maybe someone with more experience could give us a general overview of how to ride a metal board to get the most out of it. might go a long way to help those who have tried it and don't quite see what all the fuss is all about.

Had something similar happen to mine, tried different epoxies to no avail.
Ended up sending it back and they fixed me up.
