  1. Board still on market? I haven't been pricing boards recently, so I'm not even sure what a fair price for this would be, discounted, of course. Still have to afford some hard boots too!! (Got rid of my burton reactor/alp setup several years back, been riding floppy soft boots way too long.)
  2. Got a group of 6 college students recently signed up to train in racing on our hill, currently none have racing gear <G>. Did I read you correctly on those Burton drivers? ($50) What US size do they equate to? Me? Currently riding: Burton Reactor hard shells Burton Step-in Plate bindings & Burton (Asymmetrical) Alp 157 or Burton BMC 166 (with above) *BMC enjoys the ride, but is currently **begging** to be allowed to lay down and die peacefully... LOL
  3. I'm riding and instructing at Perfect North slopes this year. Currently riding Burton Reactor hardshells and Burton step-in plate bindings (until I get some F2 titaniums later in season). For boards, I'm currently stuck either using the above on an asymmetrical Burton 157 Alp (dated, but ridable) OR (favored setup) using the hardboots on my BMC 166. I did have an opportunity to ride a Donek freecarve 170-something last year, and intend to buy one later this season, when finances support it. (What I mean is that I'm going to buy a custom Donek, I personally call my custom design a Wendigo!) tedmowery@yahoo.com for those seeking alpine instruction, or just wanting to ride with another alpine rider. We have snow this year, we're one of the few midwest places open...
  4. Looking for boots and bindings, to start with. Strongly prefer an opportunity to try the (USED) gear prior to purchase. Would also be open to trading computer equipment for some gear. Current board is less than ideal for hardboots, but will have to do. :-(
  5. Cincy/Indiana area - Myself and another rider (with MUCH more experience in hardboots) are here several days a week. Both of us are AASI L1 certified. I work SUN thru THUR, and am currently using hardboots on a Burton BMC 166. I'm easy to spot - I have a Burton MT1 Skull boardercross helmet, and heinous red camouflage Legion snowboard pants. If you have a soft-boot setup, and want to work on your carving, we can help there too. If you just want to ride, or are looking for help learning, we'll be here. I'm usually open for carving when I don't have lessons. See you on the slopes!
