  1. Snowmatic, is this a ski forum?

I've met Alexey when he traveled straight from Girona to Ovindoli to let us have a test ride on his boards and surely for marketing reasons.

    He is a nice guy.

Thank's god there are one more boards builder on the market, I'm sure you know that there are a lot of hard snwobard factory that are nor more in business, just for example Burton, Volk and Nidecker.

I don't know if he have copied something or not, it is not my problem.

If he has(but Sean Martin who is by far one of the best manifacturer in the world said that is not possible http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?41641-On-Edge-Style-%96-OES/page3), he made an excelent job and we can hope that this will push the leaders on the market to go much further in performance and sell boards at more convenient price.

Relax yourself and take a rest. :)

  2. OES 185 GS

Tested in very bad late season conditions in a ski resort 100 km from Rome

    http://www.carvers.it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2658&start=120

Great board goes through everything firmly! Semi classic shape, little or no rocker, taper, centered bindings, little setback.

A bit stiff but I've tested it without any plates, maybe could be at it's best with an isocline one.

    Must have.

    OES Sputnik 175 Withe

Great funcarving board, quick edge to edge, great edge holding, right flex.

The only problem for me , MP295, is the 18cm width.

  3. http://www.bergfex.com/

Cervina is the highest one and on top of the Piccolo Cervino, more or less 3600mt, you will always have jennuary snow. quite expensive, best to stay in cervinia or valtournance than in zermatt.

    Soleden has the steepest slopes

saas fee is a good option

des alpes has great post ski activities

passo del tonale will be probably closed on summer, only one slope but long and nice

stelvio opens at 7 in the morning, trafoi as a good option for sleeping, closer than bormio, lower than sleeping at passo dello stelvio 2700mt or livrio 3200mt

  4. It seems it does not need to be yellow to win races:

    .900 does the trick too

FIS race was won this week end using the low end .900

.350 are the low end ones, and the work great too. They don't have the spring mechanism but you cal easly add one , the ACCS from Arnaud of the Swoard forum or the Rabanser one sold by 19.94 bindings

There is a rental shop in Cortina D'Ampezzo that has a lot of .350 and they are very happy to sell them. I've bought mine for 70 euro

  5. Never rode a pair, would love to know the definitive answer to this. The shell is a 3 piece design very similar to Deeluxe so I'm not sure what the difference is. I asked Jasey Jay at the ECES last winter and he said "They just got it right. They just work great." *shrug*

However I'm afraid falling in love with a pair would be like falling in love with an original Madd 158. Two things which will never be built again.

Everything is different, plastic, shape, buckles, footprint, highness of the cuff.

Once I've got one .900 I'll never let them go.

My feet are not going around anymore in my boots.

    I think. They act.

I close the buckles in the morning and release when I get back to my car, not even in the chalet I' have the necessity of opening them up.
