Often the problem is the liner and the inner sole, not the boot itself.
Some people use Backcountry ski boots on alpine boards because they are lighter and as forward flex. But they are so pricy.
With F2 Race titanium there are no problems.

i now use the gecko cross with red bumpers and installed asymmetrically, correlated to binding angles. also use the gecko stealths with red bumpers, but i did have to get the taller 10mm insert extensions as opposed to the 5mm ones with black bumpers that come with the stealths.
FYI: gecko cross/stealth/free plates are all too wide to put on an alpine board, say 20cm waist. need the carve plate to use alpine. doh!
We build our own plates for alpine that are very light, that makes the board run very smoothly, quicker edge to edge, and gives a lot of edge grip.
And for sure more clearance to the boots.
Starting from a simple delrin sheet, all the risers gives advantages in carving, in soft or hard boots some works better than the other.

As www.carvers.it we made a lot of tests on different materials.
Almost all the plates we have ride gives advantages and disadvantages.
The main problem is the weight.
So we decided to build our own plate starting from a disc of delrin, a square of rubber and a sheet of aluminum.
After some years of evolution and changes now we are building a very light and performing plate that gives a smooth riding with quick response and a lot of edge grip.

My daughter was for some days on softboots but for some reasons I had in my house the boots of Roland Fischnaller and she asked me if she can try them, of course on the carpet, she was 9!
She said, it's easyer with this ones!
So I have found almost everything for her and now she is learning on hardboots.
If somebody could be interested I'm selling a SG 125 -
I have been to the Stelvio pass and a lot of pro woman are using them.

TD3 are wonderful but 500usd

I have started using Palau over lap soft, very comfortable and well built, now I switched to Palau over lap hard, that holds much better my foot and gives more stiffness to the sistem.
Less comfort.
-
I moved from Palau Overlap Soft to Palau Over Lap Hard and the difference is big.
The feet are more firm and the boots more stiff.
Consider less comfort. -
Drupi is a friend of mine, he didn't know about this "new" forum.

Riding with other guys is the best way to improve your riding.
Doesn't matter if they are better or worst snowboarder than you.
In Italy we have various groups and we go carving together, sharing time, experience and why not trip costs.
We use to stop lonely carvers and invite them to dig with us, we share phone number for next carving day.
Going around with skiers often make hardbooter to change their style in worst.

It is strange, USA, France and also Italy federation are investing just little effort for Alpine Snowboard while Russian Federation is spending a lot of money...
And we can see the results.

Coiler Nirvana V-Cam is the perfect soul free carving board.

I think that the main problem with the metal boards is not that they break or delaminate but is that every metal has fatigue problems and sooner or later the performance of the board runs down.
The point is when this will happen?
-
In Italy is mandatory and we also have been checked by ski patrol lots of time.
I always use it for safety reasons, first for not letting the board go around, second if my front binding drop me off my back leg will be in serious danger.
I use a very short leash screwed on the board. It's no sense to fix it to the bail because one of the problems could be the bail itself.

I have the sidas that you posted.
Very supportive and transmissive but absolutely no dump.
On ice my foot gives me pain.
So I switched to more comfortable and less transmissive footbeds.

User activated.
I have seen some OES boards in Cortina at the world cup.
Just one question, if only racers are your market, why produce freecarving boards?
I have a 175 wide, and rode 164 FC and the Sputnik and enjoyed them.
Never rode a race one.

Possible. But most of our clients is racing teams what take >10 boards per order. Or resale companies.
Sale stuff to end users is "silly" for us.Go out to carvers.it
I have there:
"Your account has been created. However, this board requires account activation by the administrator group. An email has been sent to them and you will be informed when your account has been activated."Ciao Alexey
Sorry for that.

Send me a pm so I can check what is happening.
As wrote by email, we will be happy to have you, your team and your boards with us at the carvers Days in Ovindoli

Hello friend to carver, here are some modifications whom I made on my UPZ rc-10.
I replaced the second buckle because she got in touch with the 3rd constantly in flexion.I had to reposition the buckle replaced higher and cut the high part of the boot because she too prevented the flexion resting on the tongue. Finally l hade my spring system ...... no hole no drill! They fit perfectly in origin hole.
If people want it I have other kit in stock.. 3 different springs resistance.
The Raichle strap comes in different lengths.
Which one have you used?
