  1. every one has to visit zermatt at least once per life! the big mountain (the matterhorn) still takes me banned every time i'm up there...

the right carving slopes are not so easy to find but they exist. you should try out the 'rothorn fis dh' slope!

the nightlife is awesome, lots of little bars and stuff. easy to do apres ski (board) 10hrs or longer! don't forget to get up early in the morning...:biggthump

  2. and a 'secret' from me; right after sölden you find 'hochgurgl-obergurgl'. i was last week for the 5th time there. excellent steep slopes, fresh every morning, less crowd than every where else i know so far. and, please don't tell any one... gimme a call when you're in reach of switzerland! maybe i can steel some time to take a ride with you guys!

  3. OH BOY! i would like to see your very first turns on that monster in carbon! you'll like it that much, your family will be scared that they will never see you again at home so long there is some snow laying on the hardpack....:eplus2:

keep on riding dude, your infected now forever:biggthump

  4. i was doing some 'lay-downs' on a brand new virus hurricane ultimate, on a wide open glacier resort. a sixth sence get alarmed and i tucked my head between the knees (in full carving modus..!) when a totally out-of-control telemark beginner used me as a kicker, sailed over the glacier and detonated on the slope, maybe 20meters below. at this time we were 5 (!) people on the really big glacier... he broke one ski stik on my helmet and killed the deck on the nose... at least no body gets hurt:freak3:

  5. Cool! What's her favorite? I am in the market for a new board. What kind of boots does she like?

    hey princess!

my girl rides a virus storm. 156 long and a sharp, progressive sidcut but not too hard flex. turns really easy and carves (like all virus) very stable. i know 5 woman that have the same rides. looks it's kind like a 'lady-carver'.

  6. Thanks for the tip :biggthump I will check for that this weekend. I was riding with a weight lifter belt and a Blown L5 disc. Rotation was a bit of a concern if you know what I mean.

uuups:o this way i believe i would't do any turns at all...! time to times i suffer a inverted 3. too.... are we getting older or what:freak3:

    NO:eplus2:

    ride on!

  7. In stock, Head boots are excellent (comfortable, warm) but somewhat stiff. Some racers like this. (extreme) carvers don't. After modifying the boots you get great forward flex and increase the effect of the spring : less effort in your legs.

Modified Head boots behaviour is very similar to Northwave .900 one

    please a pic arnaud!

    thanx

  9. Carveboards are the kings of angulation on the street. I`ve spent a fair bit of time on my friends board and love it. It`s another one of those toys that is on the list of "must haves":biggthump

..oh boy, YES you should own one...

  10. i have i cloude 9 - 1,20m long in my garage. wich i no more use since i have a original 'carveboard'. this thing really carves the pavement. makes summer also a good time! love that thing; special trucks, really slicks with airtubes, impossible to touch the deck with the whells or the street.
