I found a set new in the box but missing the heels. anyone now where to find a set of heels? or is anyone ridng them and want aextra set? I don't know much about them are they any good? they seem super tough although a little heavy maybe. they are all alloy but the shims. the plate is cast but triple thick. SITO Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 I think that those nitros have the same hells than my nidecker bindings had, Be carefull if you find a pair of hells and you use your bindings.take a look at the pic, my plastics hells was broken and the metal pin was fixed to the plastic for only a few mm. SITO Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 Nope, sorry for not explain me correctly, The heel boots is in one piece(the metal pin is inside the plastic hell but is not retractable), all in a block like an intec-hell . But as you can see in the pic, the plastic is not strong enought and break under the pressure do it by the metal pin, (which fit into the hell binding), because the metal pin bear all the strenght which you transmit to the bindings when riding.
