trikerdad
Being one of the lucky "big ticket item" winners at the SES raffle, I put in my order for my new custom Donek as soon as I got back from Aspen. Sean didn't flinch when I asked for a 179 Freecarve II with the olympic construction and the opptional "theft deterrent system" (see pic of base). He put it on the build list for the very next work day and shipped it one week later. It came today, one day after the Coiler I bought from Big Canuck, so I have to show them both off. chadx
ACK! Sweeeeeeeet goodness is what that is! When are we you going to get to take it out?
trikerdad
I offered but all he said was that it would be ready in a week. Gotta love it. I guess you can tell I plan on keeping it awhile.
trikerdad
We're having some great conditions this week at Shasta, 12 inches of powder last night, and I plan on trying both boards in it tomorrow. Today I would make one powder run then one carving run, back and forth, so my back leg would have a chance to recover. Some of the groomed had soft spots in it but going down in that stuff was almost as much fun as making a good turn.
Art
Bill, you are one lucky dog. Just try not to break it! Congrats, Art
Sinecure
Move the bindings back and it will be OK in the POW. Have fun. It should be light pow given the temps you guys are getting.

trikerdad
My bindings were all the way back, 6 degrees of front toe lift, flat in back and both boots in the 5 position. Fin calls it something like " the full gas pedal position".
