Sinecure
If you aren't familiar with Steep and Cheap, you should be. Each day they have one item they sell at really discounted prices. They put up the item at midnight mountain time. Today its a Head back protector vest for $46.99. That's a deal. Act quick because once they are sold out, you are SOL. Here's the link. Tomorrow it will be a different item.
Gleb
I think i might get this thing. Ive had too many close calls at wachusett from one of the straight liners. I got a screwed up back overall, so this will defintly not hurt having.

I have the Skeletools front zip torso tool (www.skeletools.com). It doesn't have the interlocking plates for the spine, but it has pads all over... great if you are learning new tricks in the park or on rails. skategoat
I bought three of them - for me and my kids. I bordercross, the #1 crash is off a jump or roller where you land flat on your back. In a recent junior race, I saw three kids get helped off the course after crashing like that.
