jdgang
so i hit mountain creek yesterday with my fp57...first time riding it since I got back in alpine last year....rode a speed 160 last year so I thought I would setup my bindings with the same 18inch stance of course the angles where a little higher due to waist width. front binding at the reference location back binding was one back. I could not get the thing to carve stance felt to small angles too little ...condition did suck so I moved the front binding up one and raise the angles to 54/51....that help a little but now my stance feels to wide...any ideas ? Jack M
keep the wider stance width, add some toe lift to the front foot and some heel lift to the back foot.
Erik J
Conditions were Very challenging yesterday. The slush was DEEP with hard ice underneath. It was carvable but I had to really power through every single turn. I would second keeping the stance wider, the extra balance helps with that kind of crud.
