Thor VonRippington
I'm considering a new set of TD2s and would need the Intec heel. Would the Intec heel affect fit or function on the Burton Race plates I have set up on other boards? I hate changing stuff around just because I want to ride a different board. ...Thanks R.S. RicHard
Would the Intec heel affect fit or function on the Burton Race plates I have set up on other boards? I don't know if it affects the standard boots/heels combinations but keep in mind that if you've got Burton Fire boots and you mount the intec heels on them, you can move the heels a little bit inside to gain angles without overhang but you loose the possibility to lock the heel bail of the standard bindings. skategoat
I found that with the Intec heels, my boots has a bit more volume. I had to let out the bails on my Cateks standards slightly. It's just like replacing worn heels. You'll get a slightly different fit in the binding. So make sure you test fit them at home and make adjustments. Don't just jump on the board at the hill.
