Guest cmk
What's the difference between f2-proflex and not-f2-proflex? Is it possible that new proflex freecarve bindings on sale now are not made by f2? I'm bit confused.. And what about nidecker? were they any good at hard bindings? Phil
There was a season ('98, maybe) when a Nidecker rep came through our snowsports learning center and sold a bunch of the hardbooters Nidecker stuff. There were at least 15 pair of Nidecker carbon bindings sold. The only pair (that I know of) That survived past the first year and a half were my wife's. Everyone else's stripped out and were unusable. So unless you are less than 120 pounds, I would not even look at the Nidecker carbons (If that is what you were looking at). Mark.Andersen
Aside from color and logos, there is no difference between F2 and Proflex Freecarves; in fact they are the same company. F2 used the Proflex name for their bindings from about 1996 - 2001. Here is a link to the description of F2 Proflexes. 2002-2003 F2 Freecarves DISCLAIMER: I'm selling a pair of new-in-box Proflex Freecarves here Mark
