Guest ethanpt
I need to shoot up to the loaf to get some guidance from Erik Beckman. Anyone know how to get a hold of him? I tried the link on the instructor search but the email was returned. Second question. anyone know of anywhere cheap(er) to stay within an hour of the loaf? Thanks Ethan
Jack M
you can make an appointment with him through ski school. 207-237-2000. If you don't already have lift tickets, the mountain has some very attractive ski 'n stay packages. Otherwise try the Spillover Motel in Stratton, the Carrabassett Inn in Carrabassett Valley, or the Sugarloafer's Ski Dorm in Kingfield. Enzo
I scheduled my lesson with him through the Sugarloaf Perfect Turn office 866-266-7081. Make sure to request for a hard boot lesson. I think he told me that he only teaches on Tues, Thurs, Sat, and Sun.
Guest ethanpt
great thanks. I have a pass so don't need a ticket. How much is a lesson? Do I need to do a private lesson?

mirror70
If you're just looking for a couple of pointers from a qualified pro, then a regular group lesson will work. If you're looking for help from a specific pro (ie, Erik or another one of our hardbooters), then a private is the way to go. Either a 60 or 90minute lesson is recommended, because it enables you to take in some advice and then work on it for the rest of the day. Going 2hrs or more often leads to information overload since you'll be taking in more information than you'll be able to process.
