Eric Brammer aka PSR Posted February 19, 2016 Report Share Posted February 19, 2016 My Dad let me skate this in '74, on loose-ball bearings on a plastic KT board (Think, "Penny-board" minus the nice bearings and larger wheels), following me on down with the family station-wagon (A Travel-All, as I recall). I got wobbles at least 3 times, but only wiped it once (in the shrub-grass!). About halfway down, my Mom said 'Enough', and I had to quit. I didn't get there again until 1980, and running it toasted my new Sims Gold Race bearings, as dust from St. Helens made them 'crunchy' at 35 mph.
