joecarve
I need new shocks for my '92 Nissan 4x4 pickup. Any suggestions from experience? joe...
Chris Houghton
Bilstein or Koni, then maybe Edelbrock if they make an application for it, then for cheap go for AutoZone Monroes or PepBoys blue light special. It really depends on how much you want to spend.
D-Sub
ha! gotta chuckle a little when you can tell that people are so into this site they start asking TOTALLY ot questions;) I have KYB monomax in my explorer. I think there a middle of the road decent shock Ive seen good prices on bilstein, kyb and monroe here: http://www.shockwarehouse.com/cgi-bin/shocks/kyb.html?id=BSm7vI5H
Jim
BTW D-Sub...joecarve put a lot of hours into keeping TahoeCarvers up and running. I believe I owe him some bucks this season, but he would never ask for money. I have Bilstein on my truck...no problemo.;)
D-Sub
I totally was NOT trying to hassle anyone in the slightest. If you knew the questions Ive almost asked here...youd probably laugh your ass off at me. keep in mind that I also offered a link to a shock site;)

D-Sub
nah..I think people read too much into my responses, but...Im kinda sarcastic sometimes, so it makes sense definitely wasnt bein sarcastic this time. anyway...look me up if you come up, no doubt! joecarve
No hassling taken. It's the vehicle I point toward snow, so that's "way OT"...kinda related. Now if it was "I need a good lawn fertilizer" - that would be "TOTALLY OT". :D I've got Koni adjustables on the car, but that's a wee bit excessive for the pickup. I was looking at the KYB, actually. joe...
