wantok
One day left at Nakiska if anyone wants to run soft. They had 28cm overnight and 12cm the day before. Wonderful day. Surprised when someone on the chair says, "That's a NoBoard! They are crazy about them in Hokkaido. You got body armour on?"
www.oldsnowboards.com
First year Nitro Swallowtail. It isn't quite clear to me from your post. Did you ride it No-Board? OR was it someone else's? I also have one I bought new, curious how it did as a noboard. Bryan
wantok
My board with a stick-on NoBoard deck. The nubbins are very effective. I have had other setups on it, the best being baseless bindings for soft boots (but poorly made). The combination gives an epic ride but it really has to sit in a foot of snow since it has to be banked more than edged around. At about 4 inches of snow I had trouble with the slightest side hill. I suspect less taper and more sidecut would help with that, or heavier snow. It was very light powder today. I put the amazing fish nose to use by luging down the steeper pitches after taking a couple unplanned cartwheels.
