I used these with a size 26 boot and there seems to be lots more adjustment for expansion . I'm not totally certain what year they were made but I'm guessing somewhere around 2005? I have used them off and on for about 4 years before I picked up some Cateks . I wasn't getting out much during them 4 years due to cycling racing commitments and had no time.
