kieran Posted February 1, 2014 Report Share Posted February 1, 2014 the snowsports area that imagines itself as the best in scotland is messed up. run by multiple competing and disagreeing companies / NGO's etc etc. there used to be a chairlift system which took one to the top of the hill, but it didn't run in high winds obviously, so there was a corrupt tender process to put in a funicular. sadly if there's been drifting snow the funicular doesn't run because there was snow-clearing system specced, manual labour only. we've had a lot of snow recently, which leaves only a combination of 3 fast, jerky, painful pomas to get you to the top of the hill. cue the fake ebay auction. read the Q&A's, they're brilliant. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=131106658086 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
