floBoot
After a typical start to the Scottish snow season, the snow is building up and up to such an extent that one of the resorts Glencoe reported snow depth surpassing that of the 2009/2010 season. Glencoe now reports: 321cm*126" Location: Average of Main Basin & Happy Valley (approx 3500ft). Happy Valley: 200cm Main Basin: 442cm Last Measured: 13/01/14 Prev Avg: 291cm 05/1/2014 HV: 175cm MB: 406cmPrev Avg: 50cm 06/11/2013 HV: 60cm MB: 40cm* My local Glenshee is patchy in places, however, on some of the uplift tracks my head is almost touching the wheel at the top of the poma pylons. The snow has been dumping down overnight and today, with resorts shut due to very high wind. I'm off work for 2 Weeks. Happy days:biggthump
