skatha
When we were up in Colorado over spring break, we went to a local steak house in Grand Lake, where our cabin is. They had a cocktail called an "Alpenglow". The only recipe I've found online calls for bourbon, but I'm pretty sure the one at the steak house was vodka based. Anyone heard of this and, more specifically, have the recipe???
twelsch42
Maybe you could call the steakhouse on the phone and they'd tell you the recipe. Just ask to talk to the bartender.
skatha
That was going to be my last option-I was hoping to read more than one recipe here... I will call on Thursday (not open 'til then, it's a mountain town) and post here
skatha
Okay, I did not ask for measurements, feel free to experiment... Peach vodka a dash of peach schnapps Cranberry juice "splash" of lime Club soda I went for Vodka, 1 1/2 jiggers, schnapps, 1/2 oz., a "splash" of lime that is identical to my "splash" of lime I use for hurricanes(namely, the capful of the concentrate), cranberry juice 1 1/2 jiggers, and soda 1 1/2 jiggers.... first experiment went well, I may get a second experiment in before hubby arrives from work;)
