I am on the east coast and we just don't get enough snow for it - especially this year. This looks like another great deal, unfortunately my wife won't let me buy this one. :-)As a prior customer of Evan's your getting a great board at a good price. This is the first time I have looked into Volkls.Thanks The info page refers to the side cut as a DIRECTIONAL RACE SIDECUT:To cater for the Renntiger model, Völkl’s Race Lab developed a special sidecut concept. A directional sidecut radius has been tuned to harmonize with the integrated Power Profiles and titanal inlays resulting in bullet-proof edge hold and perfect control at maximum speed.
