Ray
Any of you have some input about Telluride? Friends of ours asked us to join, but I would like to know how good the grooming/terrain for carving is. How would you compare the grooming to Buttermilk/Aspen (That was the best I have experienced do far...) ? Thanks in advance! Ray
JoelP
There is now a good group of carvers there. It can be awesome but it can be a no go too. The grooming is not as dependable as the Aspen area. I lived there for 14 years but moved to Aspen because of the unpredicatable grooming there. When they groom Plunge, Bushwacker or Coonskin you'll have some of the best steepest carving anywhere. But if they don't then it's boring unless you grab a allmtn board and hit the bumps. I am sure David a local may peep in here and give some feedback but it's a 50/50 gamble for good carving DO NOT just bring a carving board or you'll be screwed. You can not compare to Aspen because Aspen has always exceptional carving everyday. Joel
