F2 boxer 168

Recommended Posts

This is an old model, but definitely one of my favourite boards. At st anton last year I ripped the rail from my nidecker proto. Since a dump fell and I wrecked two soft boot bindings in less than two hours on the most expensive rental equipment I could rent I gave up on soft boots for powder. luckily the bloke at the shop understood my frustration and his boss was a carver :) he gave me this board for half price rental. I had the most amazing powder rides with this board! With the bindings set back and the swallow like tail, the board is totally neutral in powder. The board is very agile for its length and can easily be taken through moguls at a good pace. The edge grip is quite good. At the end of the week the bloke sold me the board for 150€ including bindings and a full service, and no rental charge. This board is an absolute hoot with soft alpine boots like the old 123 boots I use for them. It is a very reliable ride.

I don't know the stats, but it is a nice all mountain board. The board is quite wide and not all that stiff. This will make the transition from soft boots easy. It is very possible to carve with this board. Guess that the F2 Eliminator is what evolved out of this board's design.
