Guest bsjung
Hi bombers, I'm thinking getting an alpine board for the next season - I am borrowing one from my friend. Cuz I have not enough cash for shiny this year's models, I should wait until prices drop (hopefully). 1. When is good time for buying last year's models? Do they sale or not? 2. Where can I find some last season's leftovers of decent carving decks (like donek, coiler, prior, nidecker, etc) and bindings? Thanks a lot for any advice. Beitris :)
AaronG
bsjung, not too much of last years models from the mfrs you mentioned. Those mfrs are mostly custom board builders so they don't make em till you order em with the exception of Nidecker. Another route you might try is asking Sean at Donek, Bruce at Coiler or Chris at Prior if they have any blems availabe for purchase. Prior does have some new blems and used first run boards for sale on his website. Donek and Coiler you will have to contact directly. Also check Ebay, therei s a company in Utah that seems to have quite an inventory of new/old stock Oxygenboards for sale Good luck
philfell
The best way to find discounted goods is through the classifieds on this site, or contact the manufactures that you mentioned and try to purchase a blem or a used demo.
