The thread appears to me to be about detaining people without probable cause, inventing 'cause' when none is observed in order to justify access for search, and the creeping loss of individual freedoms and rights because it is easier, less scary and less trouble to 'just go along with it' rather than peacefully assert your rights as a free citizen. Still have not heard what the probable cause was.. http://www.komonews.com/news/113317259.html Seems a Taser would have been a better choice.
