AT-PF
Hi, I am selling my used TD1s for $80 + shipping. They will include: - (2) 3deg cant discs - (2) sets of yellow/medium bumpers for 3deg discs - all the screws and bolts (all the M8/16mm hex screws are brand new stainless steel 316) - (2) Standard Toe bails - (2) Standard Heel bails (with almost brand new tension springs) - (1) bomber leash In the pictures you will see that one of the binding plates -marked with RED circles - the two outside mounting holes which can be used to mount the bumpers. They have the same functionality as the same sized holes closer to the center. In the case of the two holes marked in RED the threads are blocked and can not accept screws. A machine shop could easy re-drille those holes for you if you prefer to mount your bumpers in those spaces. But the way these 2 thread holes are at the moment, you will not be able to use them but only the holes closer to the center. Besides this every other part is in perfect working and structural condition. Feel free to contact me with any questions. PRICE: $80 + shipping PayPal is prefered
Justinfolco
Really interested! was wondering if the holes just need tapping, or are they completely blocked? i am new to this. so could you tell me the advantage to mounting the bushings on the inside vs the outside. AT-PF
The factory screws that came with the TD1 were of a soft metal and broke off when I wanted to remove them so that I can take the pictures for this sale. A machinist or a skilled Do-it yourself person with the right drill bit definitely could clear the threads themselves. The thread size is M6 / 8mm I have a set of TD1 step-ins at the moment and mount my bumpers on the spots closer to the center since I have a fairly narrow board. I don't think there is a performance difference between mounting the bumpers outside or inside. let me know if you have any further questions.
