caspercarver
went to the village today. the village got 5 feet of snow in last five days. i got there at five minutes to nine(lifts open at 9). i parked my car in the number two parking spot in the front pay lot. shortest walking distance to lift possible. at ten, casper lift was empty. maybe says something about the economy. last year at this time it was standing room only with all the kids. wow! groomers were too soft to carve but maybe tomorrow? cheers. two_ravens
Hmmm - looking like a chance for a little bit of snow tonight. As much as I would like to spend all day working on taxes, I might have to tear myself away for a few hours of powder at the village tomorrow. Hope the crowds have cleared out by then.
caspercarver
it is snowing now. i wish it would stop so i could carve on last turn before it closes on saturday! i hiked up the king today thru a foot of powder. i would guess the village will be pretty soft as well. i am thinking of going. maybe laps on AV. maybe i will take out my powder board for the first time:eek:
two_ravens
I found a snow report that said -1" in the last 24 hours - guess it's April Fool's! Judging by the snow on my porch, it will be a good day for the Fish. CC, maybe see you out there somewhere? Sorry about the tragic lack of good carving groomers.
