C5 Golfer Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 Just returned from Whistler -- thought I'd share what the new gondola looks like. 3 cables - two @ 56 mm Dia and one at 46 mm Dia is all that holding you away from being one gigantic bungy cord. Loc Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 I was there for Peak2Peak opening weekend and indeed, it is a cool ride. I even got to ride the glass bottom gondola.
