DenverSteve Posted March 6, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 Hi Scrapster, The Carrier was Burton's standard carve binding. The next step up was the Carrier Race, which had a layer of metal in it. I used this binding with a Burton Alp, it matched well with that board (all-mountain carving). I now ride a Donek Freecarve with trenchdigger II's, which of course is a more stiff of a binding and a completely different style board. The carriers had great adjustibility, you can move the front and rear bails to center your boot on your board. 3D systems allows for 3 degree angle changes, I have both the 3 hole and 4 hole disks for Burton's, or any other make board.
