davekempmeister
Anyone here ride Kreitlers? I ride the 3.0's with a fan (most of the time)and am thinking about a set of 2.25's. I want to up the ante but have never ridden the 2.25's and am not sure if they'll be worth the additional expense. Are they that much more resistant? Any opinions would be welcome. Thanks. Steve Prokopiw
You won't need a fan for most workouts with those. That's why some trackies like them because they are more portable without the need for fan resistance and travel easier.Other trackies I used to race with did not like them because the were too hard to just spin on. davekempmeister
Thanks Steve. I've gotta find a way to try them before I decide to buy. If they are resistant to the point that the ride suffers too much, I'd probably pass.

What are you trying to accomplish? IMO, you're much better off taking a POS Tacx system and making into Free Motion via any number of different McGuever means rather than spending more money on Kreitlers. Don't get me wrong..all of their rollers are REALLY REALLY nice, but riding on Free Motion is soooooo much more slippery and not so boring. Hope that helps.
