Loc
So my friend bribed me to join him in 2 weeks with an offer of free lodging a-la hotel points. I was kicking and screaming that I want to save money but he fought tooth and nail to convince me. I put up a fight Anyways, I had a great 1 hour lesson with Flo Jayme in Tahoe last Junuary and learned a lot. Two weeks later I proceeded to break my ankle on the day's 2nd run in Mammoth and my season was over I'd like another lesson when I'm in Whistler-BC if you guys know of any hardboot instructors on those hills. Please leave contact info if you have it, thx!
mr_roboteye
When I lived in Whistler there was a snowboard instructor named Arne (pronounced same as "Arnie") Gutman. He rode hardboots occasionally, but not all the time. The best thing to do is e-mail the ski / snowboard school through their website, and tell them what you're after. www.whistlerblackcomb.com later, Dave R.
