willywhit
it's amazing how few gas guzzlin' boats are on the water this summer. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHedmV5Dczg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHedmV5Dczg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

SEJ
What I find amazing is that most of the wake skate riders, who I will refer to as IDIOTS, are not wearing vests. Wake skates are fun, but hold the same inherent risk as any other water sport. I grew up in the delta and between the age of 18 to 20 I lost 5 friends to the water, doing stupid s**t like that. All it takes is one faceplant to get stunned, and without flotation, you're dust. I mean, it doesn't need to be USCG approved to help, a wetsuit, or anything else that will help you to stay afloat after you get your bell rung. I've got a bunch of non-USCG approved stuff (Which is now illegal in CA) that floats me like a cork. I can't believe they made it illegal to wear something comfortable. (Thats probably part of the reason they don't wear them)
