Surf Rat
http://e-mtb.com.au/library.html these guys are in Melbourn Au they look fun but i think hardware could be attached better. i have a shop in north van that said they can lace up a 1900watt motor for like 1500 (with battery and controller). the cool thing is it is not permanent. the bummer is all that un sprung weight. I have a 02orange Patriot. might work out well. more to come later
KingCrimson
For the 2 and a half horsepower you get out of it, I think you should probably just rig up a small internal combustion engine. 1500 bucks is a LOT.
dantheman0177
Vanessa and I are just arguing whether the top one is a couple of our mates. I am pretty certain that the voices in the background belong to a couple of our good friends, the location looks very familiar and so does the t-shirt the rider is wearing. Who would have thought... Rob Stevens
Just took delivery of a Zero electric MX bike. 20 hp and 250 ft / lbs of torque. The motor puts out 300 amps. The battery is a lithium ion unit supposedly good for 2 hours at 50 mph. With 10 inches of travel f / r and a weight of 140 lbs, both the V10 and the new Trek Remedy might be collecting dust. I am stoked.
