John Bell
When you measure your stance width, do you measure from the middle of each binding plate? Measuring that way, I have my TD1s 19 inches (58 cm) apart. My legs are fairly short; I wear a 30-inch inseam on my pants. However, actual distance from crotch to barefoot sole is 82 cm (just over 32 inches). In height, I'm a bit over 5'8" (173 cm). This is my first alpine setup. Thanks! Jack M
Yes. You can probably go wider, like 19.5" if you use toe lift under the front foot and heel lift under the back foot.
John Bell
Thanks, Jack. No lift, but 3-degree cant disk in the rear. 0 in front.
trikerdad
Sounds a little wide for your height, especially without any toe lift. I'm 6' 3' and ride 19 1/2" with lots of toe and heel lift. There are a couple different formulas for getting a rough idea of what your width should be. Try a search.
