Lula: This whole world's wild at heart and weird on top. Sailor: Did I ever tell ya that this here jacket represents a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom? Lula: About fifty thousand times. Guy at Nightclub: You look like a clown in that stupid jacket. Sailor: This is a snakeskin jacket! And for me it's a symbol of my individuality, and my belief... in personal freedom. Guy at Nightclub: jackass. Sailor: C'mere.

Those boys have a death wish. Have you seen the windsurfer with the hydrofoil? It doesn't really look very fun, the rider seems to be fighting it the whole time, but it does look cool. I've been told when one comes straight at you from a distance it looks like it's flying above the water.

Looks like balancing a whole sail rig with a foil is a handful.I've seen kiters throw a backflip riding a foilboard in a video. My buddy has one but the K2 clicker binders/boots are too small for my feet. Doesn't look that hard to learn if you can wakeboard.

willywhit
got this today, from Mats "Some 15 years ago my surfing mentors Joe Cabell and Mike Doyle introduced me to carving on a snowboard. They explained to me that the feeling of carving a forehand turn on a snowboard was the closest sensation you could get to a big bottom turn on a huge wave in Hawaii, and laying down deep trenches in the freshly groomed corduroy of snowcat tracks has since become one of my ultimate pleasures. With your face just inches from the snow, every turn is the most intense you have ever done - a hundred yards long if you want."
