Just got of the phone with a friend up in Mammoth/June, and it seems their conditions held up pretty well... I go this weekend...anyone up there as well? gdboytyler Posted March 10, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 My bold prediction for Sunday conditions at the Snow Summit: Crowds will be light for a weekend. Snow will be very hard (but not icy) until about 9:30-10:00am, when it will soften nicely and be very carvable. By noon/1:00, temp will be in the high 40's, snow will get softer buy not slushy.
