Neil Gendzwill
My wife skis. She has a bad back that she doesn't want to risk with a lot of falls so she won't learn to snowboard. She skis well enough that we can ride most of the same runs together, and when she doesn't want to follow me, she just finds an easier way down. I don't wait for her much, sometimes she waits for me. It's great! My kids both ski, and my daughter is now 11 and learning to snowboard. Also, my parents both ski, in fact my dad is 68 and still goes most anywhere with me. His style isn't too pretty, but he pretty effectively manages anything short of double black. My mom just wedges her way around the greens, but at least she likes to be there. So once or twice a year, we have a 3 generations trip to the mountains, which makes for a really nice family vacation.
