SEJ
I'm bidding on them. Just like to know more about them. Can't get any info on TD1s at bomber. I'm sure they are bullet proof, I was just wondering about absorbsion, flex, etc. I ride Catec OS1s and Burton race. Where would you put them stiffness wise? My Catecs are really stiff (Feel everything). The Burtons are a little softer, and I think (At my level) a little easier to ride.
Yard Sale
The Carver's Almanac has details on the TD1 at http://www.alpinecarving.com/binding_model.html#bomber I'm new at this this, and I've only ridden on TD1s and TD2s, so I can't offer comparisons to your bindings. skategoat
SEJ: TD1s are as stiff as they come. Take a look at the thickness of the aluminum. There is no flex in any component other than the bail. With step-ins, since your heel is locked in pretty solid, there is no flex whatsoever.
